Passenger Information: Ban on the Import of Harmala (Adraspan) into the Russian Federation

QAZAQ AIR (VietJet Qazaqstan) informs passengers traveling on flights to Russia about the existing ban on the import of the plant harmala (also known in Kazakhstan as adraspan) into the territory of the Russian Federation.

According to the legislation of the Russian Federation, transporting this plant across the border without appropriate authorization — including its presence in medicinal products or dietary supplements — may entail serious legal consequences, including imprisonment or a large fine.

We strongly advise passengers planning trips to Russia to carefully review the list of substances and plants prohibited for import, and to refrain from carrying harmala (adraspan) or any products containing its extracts.

Additional information on the rules for importing certain goods and substances can be obtained from official sources of the Russian customs and sanitary authorities.

The airline is committed to providing its passengers with the most comfortable and safe travel experience possible.
