QAZAQ AIR has confirmed compliance with IOSA international standards

QAZAQ AIR has successfully passed the 3rd IATA Operational Safety Audit for compliance with IOSA (IATA Operational Safety Audit) standards. The validity of the certificate and the airline’s IOSA operator status have been extended until November 2022.

During the audit in August 2021, accredited independent auditors conducted a full-scale audit of documentation and compliance with IOSA standards and recommended practices in all areas of the airline’s operations, including organizational structure and corporate governance, flight safety management system, flight operations, flight management and dispatch service, engineering and technical maintenance of aircraft, on-board and ground handling of aircraft, cargo transportation and aviation security.

Passing IOSA audit helps to improve operational safety and reduce the number of bilateral audits required to enter into interline agreements with international carriers.

“This year QAZAQ AIR celebrated its 6th anniversary and passed the IOSA audit for the third time. This confirms the Airline’s commitment to high standards and is the result of the work of the entire QAZAQ AIR team. IOSA certificate determines the international status of a safe carrier, which is the main priority of the Airline ”- QAZAQ AIR CEO Plamen Atanassov.

IOSA (IATA Operational Safety Audit) is an airline operational safety audit program developed by the International Air Transport Association, which is designed to assess the operational management and control systems of air carriers. The IOSA standards manual includes about 1000 requirements, which must be confirmed by the airline during the audit.
